Chick Wagon Band features vocalist Darla
Cooper, with lead guitarist Karen Hatch, bass player Doc
Dixon, and long-time Westshore musician, Randy
Anguish on drums. CWB will
perform at the Fair on Saturday, September 18th, playing a dynamic set
of today’s top country, some timeless favourites, along with some
well-known classic rock sprinkled among a few originals co-written by
the Chick Wagon Duo, Darla and Karen.

Karly Summers Sarah McLachlan's Lilith Fair 2010 held a public On-Line contest. Of 228 BC Women Artists competing, Karly was TOP 20 Finalist. Born and raised here on Vancouver Island, Karly has been writing since she was 8. Her dad taught her guitar at 11. At 14 she caught the attention of Canadian Musician Tom Jackson whom she opened for 2007. Since then Karly has played countless Festivals and Fairs from Victoria to Comox, with the likes of Steven Page, Maurice, Shari Ulrich and Valdy. Karly is very excited to announce she will be playing at the BC Days this August 2nd in the Inner Harbour, Victoria. Whether Karly is playing in front of a few thousand, or busking downtown Victoria, she has found her passion. "I love playing music, it makes me happy"......... Karly Summers.

Fine Spirits
Westshore's favourite R&B band brings their energy back to Luxton. Featuring Vince Pollitt on trumpet, Dave Preston on vocals and guitar, Lesley Preston on vocals and bass, Fred Speckeen on lead guitar, and T.W. Tobin on drums, this lively outfit pours out a generous helping of rhythm and blues, soul and pop, with just a dash of country. Dancing is always allowed!
