NOTE: This show will an open show only and will be judged to the American Poultry Association (APA) standards.

Entries Close the Monday before the fair—LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED at the discretion of the Convenor.
Fees: $1.50 per entry (Junior $1.00 per entry)

Rules: (note: there will be no exceptions to these rules)
1. Entry fees and entry form to be paid and signed when entries cooped in.
2. Pen space may limit entries.
3. Entries must be in coops by 7 p.m. Friday of the fair weekend.
4. Exhibits may not be removed before 6 p.m. Sunday of the fair weekend except with prior permission of Convenor.
5. All Poultry entries will be judged according to the American Standard of Perfection.
6. Unclean or diseased birds will NOT be allowed in the show building (STRICTLY ENFORCED)
7. Classes will be provided for all breeds, providing there are at least 10 or more birds; all others will compete as
AOV.
8. Prizes will be awarded at the Judges' discretion, and Judges’ decisions are final.
9. In all Classes birds must be Purebred Variety ONLY. Birds shown in the Backyard Chickens show are not
purebred or recognized by the APA.
10. NO PRIZE MONEY WILL BE PAID FOR CHAMPION, RESERVE CHAMPION and JUNIOR ROSETTES GIVEN IN A
CLASS WITH LESS THAN 3 EXHIBITS.
11. There will be NO PRIZE MONEY FOR SPECIALS unless there are at least 10 birds in competition.

JUNIOR SECTION
Open to youth 16 year. Classes are the same as adult classes. All entries are to be RAISED AND HANDLED BY THE JUNIOR. Juniors may compete in overall competition and as Juniors. Juniors must state age on entry form.
