Event Information:

The Luxton (4wd) Tough Truck Challenge 2009 is a competition involving driving over man made obstacles in an arena. Competition results are based on points. The competitor accumulating the least amount of points will be declared the winner.

  Trophies for first 3 places in each Class.   Lots of prizes to be raffled during the two days.

  Event Classes:      Stock, Trail, and Extreme.

  2 – Day Event      Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2009

  Event starts 11 am daily.     Mandatory Drivers’ meeting 10 am daily.

  Truck and Driver Registration $60

Pre-registration Friday, September 18, 2009 from 6 pm until dark.    Saturday, Sept. 19th 9 am to 10 am

RTI Challenge – Sponsored by "Karnage Fabworks"

$10:00 Entry Fee.    Drivers can register for this event only.    Sign-in and wrist band required to compete.

Entry includes truck and driver only.                Separate prize table will be offered for this event.

Passengers can either purchase a pit pass ($10/day) or pay event admission $10 at the admission gate.  No passengers permitted in the staging area or the arena.  

Absolutely NO dogs.

All vehicles are to park in the gravel lot on Sooke Road. 

Registered Tough Truck Challengers are automatically registered for this challenge and included as part of the competition run for points.

Location:
Luxton Fair Grounds, which is 15 miles west of Victoria on Highway 14, on the way to Sooke.
Access Luxton Fair Grounds off Sooke Road, gravel lot entrance.

  Parking:
Pit space and parking is very limited.  Pit area is reserved to competition vehicle (tough truck challengers).
Trailers and support vehicles are to be parked in the gravel lot.

  Vehicle Inspection:
All vehicles registered for the Luxton (4wd) Tough Truck Challenge 2009 will be subject to a vehicle inspection.

  Waiver:
All participants must sign a waiver before participating in the RTI Challenge and the Luxton (4wd) Tough Truck Challenge 2009.

  Camping:
Camping within the pit area is First Come-First Serve and priority given competition drivers from out-of-town.  Camping is priority to track officials, competition drivers and pit crew only.  

No security.     No RV hook-ups.   No power supply.   Portable washrooms.

NO open fires/fire pits will be permitted at all.  10 pm  shut down-lights out.

If you or your guest(s) are asked to leave by track officials, security, Luxton Fairgrounds management, and/or Langford Bylaw Enforcement due to inappropriate behaviour/misconduct and/or noise complaint, driver and competition truck will be disqualified and driver will forfeit winnings.

NO DOGS are permitted in the pit area.
